Ridiculously SLOW
I am so disappointed. This filter takes 40 minutes to fill! (2 rounds of tap water to get a full picture @ 20 minutes a shot) It's utterly ridiculous and buyers should be warned by Brita so they can be aware BEFORE they purchase this expensive product. I use filtered water to make coffee and set up my machine at night. I have to remember to start earlier just to fill the coffee maker reservoir and then get the picture filled to go back in the fridge. Unbelievable!

Do not buy this...does not fit with all putchers
Shame on Brita. They claim this filter works with all pitchers except Streams. I own an X not a stream. The filter clearly does not fit. Shameless cash grab by a big corporation. I intend on filing a consumer complaint.

It works!
I’ve used Brita regular filters for years. Our city water is so awful now that the regular filter wasn’t filtering out the chlorine and chemical taste. This elite filter is letting me enjoy drinking water again. It’s truly a great filter.

Lasts only a month
These replacement filters do not even last 6 weeks. Unlike the original filter that came with the pitcher we bought in January (2023), the last one was a complete dud. Bait Nd switch? Bummer.

Becomes extremely slow very soon
Though the product claims that it could last for 6 months, it became extremely slow after 2 months use, EXTREMELY. Much slower than the regular filter at any point of its lifespan. It is shared by merely two people and is only used to filter regular tap water (in California). Odor from the Jug: new light Blue colored filter
I always used to wash my Britta Jug when I change the filter 6 to 8 weeks; BUT rinsed it daily, thouroghly when I refilled it. I never noticed any smell from the jug during the 6 weeks. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing a pitcher with an Elite filter, which doesn't fit securely. Water just streams into the pitcher, which leads me to believe the water is not being filtered. Seems many others have had the same experience.

Doesn't Filter AT ALL
I purchased FOUR long lasting filters thinking of inflation. Now I am stuck with all these filters. The water comes out so fast I can't even fill the reservoir halfway. I then checked the water quality and it is the same as the tap water. I am tempted to break open one but I do not have another proven filter. I decided to to open another one a few days later and it is the same thing. I have two proven duds and I use it now to water my plants. I went back to Zerowater!
