Service required only after 6 months

My Bosch Benchmark dishwasher is less than one year old and already requires a repair for the water distribution/heater pump. To add to my frustration, Bosch has rescheduled my service twice because they claimed the part was "unavailable". I've been unable to use my diswasher for almost 1 month and we've had to hand wash dishes for that period of time. Great dishwasher

The dishwasher is very effective and efficient. It cleans and dries the dishes perfectly.

Great dishwasher super quite

First everything that is great about this dishwasher. It washes dishes way better than out previous two units. It is super quite even though this wasn't a major concern for me it is nice. It dry's well with Crystal dry which is more effective and efficient (less energy than standard heated drying). Very little moistier left and only usually on plastic but not much. Super Quiet

A must to buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher just needed to go but I needed a new one that I could put the cabinet front on. This was the one I found and not until installed did I realize all the bonus perks it came with. It is so quiet, you wouldn't know it was running if it weren't for the neat little light that shines on the floor, showing the time left to run. Not as good as the Bosch model this replaced.

This machine does not dry very well regardless of the cycle, I have to hand dry most of my dishes after the cycle is over. I even allow it to sit closed for an hour to let it stay warm but it doesn't dry well.

Multiple parts went bad at 6 months

This was a okay dishwasher until multiple parts broke. For two months, I have waited while Bosch has back orders on the parts (so it’s apparently a frequent problem) so I have a $1700 drying rack. The parts inside are cheap, janky plastic — a big slide from previous Bosch quality. The top rack is nice for small items but the bottom spray arms and mechanics feel flimsy and don’t hold up well.

Live with it in your mind first

This dishwasher is great: quiet, cleans well, drys well. The racking and silverware are not as good as my old dishwasher. The top silverware rack has to be loaded each piece individually to slot them. It takes time. It also limits the amout of space vertically. It is hard to wash pots, sheet pans, tall glasses, food storage containers, etc. I would get one without the upper rack and stick to good old silverware baskets.

Very Quiet and Very Good at Cleaning Dishes

UTENSIL BASKET SMALL

Small untensil basket with a grid work for putting the utensils through to keep them seprerated is not very user friendly. Other than that, this is the 2nd unit we have purchased for different residences . I like the phone app. It notifies me when it is time to check the spray arms for blockage and to clean the filter.

Worth the wait!

I have wanted to replace my existing dishwasher with this for quite some time and am MORE than delighted now that i have it! Beyond my expectations both in appearance and quality! I would recommend this to all and particularly to get a panel front to match any kitchen cabinetry.

Installer was on time and did a great job

Quiet, Clean and Dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher works as as dishwasher should. It's really quiet, cleans very good and the Crystal dry works great to get even the plastics dry. Saw lots of complaints about rack layout but in my experience those are over blown. The racks workout well for all of our dishes.
