Would Not RecommendI placed this next to my yard stick against the wall and it was off by 4". I don't know how to fix this so whenever I measure I have to remember to subtract 4 inches. This is inaccurate and inconvenient. I will be returning to the store.

Would Not RecommendThis will be my last Bosch purchase. While the product did have a generic page of safety instructions, it did not have any instructions on how to use the device. Therefore I was not initially able to determine how to change settings such as from ft-inches to just inches or how the rounding function worked. I paid extra to by from what I though was a higher quality brand. What a mistake. I tried looking for the instructions on their website...no luck there either. I was finally able to find...

Good quality and very accurate
Would RecommendAccurate little piece of laser measuring equipment. Very accurate, gives readings in inches only, feet and inches, inches with decimals, and metric stuff. Doesn't do area or volume, which is disappointing. I should have read the packaging better in the store before purchasing. Overall nice quality and very handy.

Not for outdoors
Would Not RecommendI bought this specifically because it said it can be used outside. I am not sure if there is a maximum distance but I can tell you it doesn't work even close to the 100' rating. I had a very hard time using it at 30' and impossible at 60' I wish I would have kept the box because I would be returning it.

The measuring range of the laser is 6 in - 100 ft. Measurements are taken from the rear edge of the tool as indicated by icon located on the keypad. ...
