Easy to Use

This item is so much easier to use than a traditional tape measure. We are using it to measure our kitchen for new cabinets which is almost impossible with a standard tape measure. Out of the box it took about 5 minutes to figure it out.

I bought this months ago and it works as designed. I don’t understand why some take issue with there being no manual. And some that say they are tech savvy and can’t find the manual online and come here to complain. The pdf manual is literally a link on the bottom of this page. Just scroll down and poof there it is.

It sucks

The measurements are not consistent and the constant “ERROR” description is a pain. Seems like anything over 20’ the ERROR light comes on. It’s a waste of money and my time.

Handy tool

I am not having any issue with this so far. Unfortunate that it did not come with a manual. The question that I do have though is whether this measures from the bottom of the unit or from the origin of the laser. Doing a quick test, it appears that the measurement is from the BACK of the unit.

Pocket sized, Easy and Accurate!

This has made life so much easier, with all the DIY measuring I do around the house. I typicaly have to measure by myself, but getting accurate measurements in many situations is impossible. With only two buttons, I can still make multiple adjustments in how I see the results, and when some situations call for cm, others mm, others ft, or inches, it helps in every situation. Great, but bad business practice (no user manual!)

I just bought this device and have been only playing around with it in our house and it seems to work fantastically! I only rated it 3 stars because like many others have noted, THEY DON'T INCLUDE A USER MANUAL IN THE BOX! This would be a few cents per item for the company to include that paper! The only reason I can see to not do this is perhaps they are selling the personal information you have to give over the phone to get a hard copy mailed to you.
