Great plunge router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this for years and I've found the plunge router to be excellent. The fixed base router height adjustment failed almost immediately, which is disappointing, but the router itself is great.

Don’t use it enough!

Switch does not work any more after two hours

Used it in the router table.Total runtime time less than 2 hours. Used the switch around 20 times and it does not properly shut off anymore.

Fine adjustment knob is useless

It would be an okay router for $100, NOT for the price paid. The "fine adjustment" knob is useless. Almost 1/16" of movement on the knob (and dial) before the router position actually moves vertically. If I wanted a cheap CHI-COM router I could have bought one online for almost half the price.

Good Router but many needed supplies not included

Good Router but doesn't include many necessary pieces such as a centering pin and template holder. Simple things that should be included, the centering pin especially.

Thought I was getting quality

After using this router twice I found I could no longer adjust the bit with the hex wrench. Reached out to a few people for answer I have only used twice since I got it . Now I have to remove the router from table hand adjust and start over I am not hapy

For 2nd shop

I have had this same router for 20 years & works great. Outfitting a shop @ daughter's farm & went straight for the same router. Good power, good adjustment. Have used in a router table, with plunge base, template routing, large bits, small bits.

Works great, reasonable price

This is a great router. It has two different chucks depending on your bit size and is easy to set up. Works well either mounted to a table or using handheld.
