Would Not RecommendFirst time using this palm router I made 2 short cuts with a flush trim bit and the collet got so hot I almost burned myself. I’ve owned the 2.25 hp Bosch for a long time and love it, so I assumed this was just a faulty router. Exchanged it for a new one and after 1 pass with a chamfer bit it was warm again. The collet on both was very tight and had to use a punch to get the bits out. No the bits were not bottomed out and nothing seemed to be visibly rubbing. Not impressed. Returning again and ...

Easy to maneuver
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a small router, always used a big router. This is my go to router now, easy to handle, easy adjustments, powerful for being so small. Just recently used it to mortis out butt hinges for kitchen cabinets, it was a breeze. Definitely would recommend this tool.

Not working after 5 min
Would Not RecommendReceived this as a christmas gift 1 1/2 ago. Used for the 2nd time today, and it started to growl and smoke. It might have 5 min work on it all together. 1 year warranty gone. Looks like junk at this point.

Would RecommendYou really can’t beat a BOSCH product. This small router is everything I need. I rebuilding Garden Benches and I use Oak boards that need to Have rounded edges. This works great. I highly recommend this Router.
Not what I was hoping for
Would Not Recommend1. The ability to zero and tighten the blade is impeded by the collar. 2. The locking mechanisms do not hold and it slips deeper into the cut. Piece is ruined 3. The collar drops the bit. 4. The instruction manual of vague at best. The term larger diameter bits are subjective there is no definition of what this unit considers large. 5. It was a challenge to route effectively in a midrange wood no matter the settings.

Great Addition
Would RecommendI dont know why i dragged my feet so long in getting a trim router. I use it all the time. Bosch power tools offer consistancy and quality.
Great for quick and dirty jobs.
For routing where absolute accuracy and finish are not so important this is a great tool, routing for draw sliders, quick chamfers but I wouldn't use it for serious cabinet making. But then that's not what's it's been designed for.
