Bought this after looking at it for a couple of months. Decided to bite the bullet and get it. No used it 3 times and now it wont turn on. Good power and all but not reliable.

It did the job quickly obviously needed the right tip so it was just drawer casing but needed to match the existing ones

Just the Handiest and the Best!

The Bosch Palm Router is the just best made. A must for every serious woodworker. I always reach for it over a big one if possible.

Terrible router

I bought this router to use on a stock duplicator machine. Used for about an hour and the brushes went and the collet blew apart. Not recommended.

Would not buy

After a month of having this product, the seat that the bit sits in broken in pieces. This router was a waste of money.

Perfect router for small jobs

I used this to mill out an 80% arms AR lower. It was perfect for that job. I was not sure about the corded model but it worked out great

Palm router PR20EVS

The router housing does not lock securely in place over the base so when the motor is turned on the housing slides down over the base pushing the router bit further that intended into the wood. I wouldn't buy this tool again because of this poor functioning feature.

Awesome little router!

Small, lightweight, but very effective. I was surprised by its quiet performance. Milled billet aluminum on low speed with no problem. Sub-100 dollar price makes it a great deal!

Trim router

Great small router for laminate trimming and small routing jobs! I now have 2 of this Bosch router

palm router

Needed a palm router for smaller jobs that are difficult with a full size router. I like the built in speed control very useful. Light weight

Router Crapped out

I bought this router about a year ago and only used it one time since new. Just tried using it again and it worked for about 5 minutes and then got very hot and started smoking the speed started getting lower and lower. not good.

Luthier says this is junk

I used this a handful of times. The collet broke, no big deal. (Yes, the nut was tightened correctly) I found some replacements. A few weeks later, about to route the truss rod cavity on a maple guitar neck.... and as soon as I activate power, the entire collar slams up. I reseated it, made sure everything was in the locked position, and carefully tried to start again. Same thing, only this time as I raise the router away from the table, the entire collar falls off! Never buying Bosch agai...

Great Tool

I am an amateur woodworker and this Router works like a charm. It is easy to use, setup, and produces great results. It makes me look like a PRO! 8-) It performs like I expected a Bosch Tool to work.

2 down and none to go

So I purchased the first router as a replacement for the same model I had for years. The old one just wore out. The new replacement lasted about 2 months before it died. I took it back and Lowes replaced it without any issue. The replacement stopped working after a day of use. It will be going back to the store and will be replaced by a dewalt.

Really wanted to like it

I really wanted to like this router. I really liked the finger support pockets and finger guards on the aluminum base to help you keep the base level on the work piece. The problem? The aluminum base got so hot in only 10 seconds of operation that I couldn’t hold it any longer. The aluminum base was so hot it was going to burn me. I was using a brand new three eights inch radius bit. I was not forcing the work piece. I had a nice steady easy feed rate. Not too fast, not too slow I have used rout...

Junk

Bought this to cut circles out of 1/2 MDF used it twice on the third time it keeps shutting off finally died.

Great motor

This is my second one and both have had issues with the micro adjustment the aluminium casing against the steel micro thread adjustment eventually gets stripped and I have been so careful with the second one cause I knew the problem with the first one.

poorly designed depth adjust lock mechanism

The router itself is great for the price.I really like the square surface. Makes it easy to use with a guide or a track. i am really disappointed with the locking mechanism for the depth adjustment. It's great router but the design is terrible. The nuts around the locking mechanism come loose making it really useless unless you want to go rogue.
