Great for detail jobs

Like it's older big brother 2.5Hp combination plunge router I own. The speed variable works amazing. For my smaller jobs such as custom signs, and table decor I am able to give people the product they are looking for. Very easy to handle, does not get hot when in use for long periods of time. Very easy to adjust and very accurate.

Bosch Colt Trim Router

Easy to set up and use. Suggest buying the kit with the fence because it save another purchase later on

Good Solid Unit

This router has plenty of power to perform the tasks I purchased it to do. Edge forming is primary function that I'll be using it for. It was easy to get going with it. Could be a little easier to set the primary depth setting. The micro-adjustment is good. If the primary depth adjustment was easier, I would have given it a five.

Not the router but the store

Router is great but the quality control of the store is terrible. I purchased the router drove home, opened the box only to realize it was a used/ returned item. The router was used extensively with scratches and abrasions all over and the base place adjustment mechanism was broken. Very frustrating when your store is 12 miles away, not just a hop and a skip down the road. After returning I found that the other box on the floor was also taped up as if it was a returned item. Great features

Needed a trim router and have always been happy with my Bosch 1604 (maybe wrong model number but I’ve had it for a couple of days)

Light weight

I really like my new Bosch colt router. It is easy to use with one hand and has very little torque turn when you turn it on. Very easy to see contact point with wood as well.

Decent Router for the Money

Decent router for good price. Simple operation instructions, easy to follow.

Good value, design could be better

I love Bosch tools, no doubt this will be handy and reliable as small router for things like mortising doors, smaller jobs. It is a bit of a painto do depth adjustment, my old Black and Decker was easy and accurate. But this router did the job. Would like option for a slightly larger, round base.

does its job

just got this router 4 days ago. have used it to round off edges on a bookcase with a 1\8 round over bit and worked well. bought it for its lite weight and size.

A Beast!

So far the Bosch PR20EVS is proving to be a beast. Routing internal and external curves in double stacked 3/4" MDF is effortless. A very maneuverable and easy to use tool. I did manage to trash a template doing a practice run. I wasn't expecting the amount of torque the router has. Made a new template and all was good. Will be using to route some oak in the near future. Based on that experience I may adjust the rating but for now definitely 5 stars.

Great tool

I recieved this as a gift and immediately put it to work. This is a great addition to my tools for light to medium duty work. I am very satisfied with this and will recommend it.

Great little router

I had a faithful Makita for decades, but now the work that it needs is not worth it, moved to #2 spot I bought the Colt, it is a perfect small router for detail and trim work, the variable speed is a real bonus. I just ordered a plunge kit and a vacuum attachment for it. No complaints here

Ok for the price.

I got this router because it was inexpensive for the name brand. The only issue I had was the hight adjustment base. I cranked it down as tight as I could and it still slipped adjustment. Also, I don’t like the completely square base. I wish it had a gap so I could see where I’m cutting.

Question on a Warning

So far I really like this tool. I have done all of the grooves and now need to do rabbets. This is my first time using a router and I have watched a lot of videos and I am looking at a bearing set with a rabbet bit because this seems the most flexible for future use. The Warning in the manual that I don't understand and think I should before buying more bits is on page 11. "Cutter diameter must be at least 1/4" smaller than opening for the bit and cutter" Please explain, maybe with a pictur...

Great size. Easy to handle

I got this as a needed item to trim some 1/4” plywood. It had the power I needed to complete the job
