Would RecommendThe shims were essential to add gaps between the wall and floor edges. They were the appropriate size to not just fall over, but keep in place to do their job. The beating block was sturdy enough to last for about 2500 sqft of floor installation. Careful to beat on the side with the lip that contacts the click-in side of the flooring and not the top surface (it will nick and damage the nice finished edge). Nice metal 'puller', worth the price of the kit
Would RecommendI havent seen the steel 'puller' before. It really works well when you get in tight spaces! The plastic block is ok, but it chips. I always used a hardwood block.
