Floor installation kit

This kit was absolutely needed to make the floor installation go well. Everything is made well and there enough spacers for the entire project (200 sq ft)

Close to perfect

Used for a decent sized room, all held up fine. Block is a little small so watch fingers, I nailed mine twice with mallet. Everything fit back into box for storage until next floor needs done

Highly recommend this to anyone who is installing laminate flooring but also recommend a rubber mallet to prevent damage to the plastic pieces in this kit...

Must have for any flooring

I have used this set so much for installing floors. It lasts forever and will save you so much headache when working in tight spaces installing flooring. this is especially helpful at the last row of flooring.

Necessary

For vinyl flooring I highly recommend this set. Works like a charm helping to set and align the planks!

The kit was okay but the metal pry bar bent at the part you hit on.

Great product, incomplete package, missing parts

Great product however I had to make a second trip to the store as the kit I purchased was missing the tap block. The piece that I needed most. For me it meant a n hour round trip, lost time to get started on my flooring project. Store handled the exchange without a problem. Blue Hawk, Lowe's private label needs quality control improvement.

needed tools

This was a great tool to have when installing EVP. At first we fidnt know if we would use, ya know a small block of wood coukd hold awsy from wall, a discarded piece of flooring could be used ss a tapping block.... but what do you use to snug up from wall... you need this tool. Itvwas well worth the 20 some dollar price point. I wouldnt install a floor wothout it.

Great laminate laying tool kit

I used this for the laminate that I put down and it worked well. The price was very affordable and was excellent and easy to use. I highly recommend this tool kit if you are going to lay down laminate!

Works By Tapping Block Poor Quality

Works as described and couldn't do the job with the kit. However, the tapping block is poorer quality and breaks easily. Buy an extra tapping block and you'll be good then, hopefully.

Installing a laminate floor?...Buy this kit.

This is the second laminate floor that I have installed. The first time (a few...ok.. many years ago) I did not have an installation kit. Simply used the tools on hand and made my own shims. While preparing for this new floor, I saw the installation kit and decided for the price to give it a try. I am glad I did. The tools all work great and help insure a nice tight fit between the planks without damage. To be clear you can damage the flooring edges, if you get careless. Such as not properly ...

for the money

so far so good, but will see how long it lasts. seems a bit flimsy. had to get these because Lowe's doesn't carry tracks for real wood transitions.

Save your money

Pull bar bent after only a few hits with a dead blow mallet. Block broke a few minutes later. The shims were OK for the job.
