Spacers and worked well, the blocks were a little difficult to use though. There was not much space on the surface the mallet would hit to use the wide block and would cause me to hit the ground first or just tore up every rubber mallet I would use. And the metal piece for getting those final end pieces in worked well but the soft padding under the piece that was meant to protect the piece of flooring was not working correctly and so I would continuously scuff and have to clean my flooring after...
