What Customers Are Saying
This tile cutter received mixed reviews. Many found it effective for cutting glass, mosaic, and porcelain tiles, especially for small to medium DIY projects, praising its ease of use and the clean, smooth cuts it produced. However, some struggled to get clean, straight cuts, particularly on thicker or larger tiles. A few reported issues with the cutter breaking or not cleanly snapping tiles. The quality and construction seemed inconsistent, with some considering it a good value while others felt it was poorly made. For more extensive tile work, a wet saw was often recommended as a better option.

Would RecommendI bought this to use on multiple projects I have coming up around the house. So far I’ve only used it to cut some glass mosaic tile, and it worked great. Totally work the money.

Great tool!
Would RecommendI rarely write reviews but this “cutter” is awesome! I have used a wet saw in the past and it worked but this score-and-snap tool is better for crosscuts. So far I have experimented on porcelain 4x4s, 3/8” thick glass tile and 3/8” thick subway tiles and it worked perfectly. I showed my 7 y/o how to use it and he made several clean snaps. (The second photo is his cut) I’m not sure how well it would work on irregular surfaces but I am amazed how well it works for me. No electricity needed and no ...

Does a very good job
Would RecommendThere is a learning curve. Ruined my first few tiles. Must score several times very firmly. Wouldn't suggest using for a large project.

Will not cut 3/8 X 12 inch tile after several attempts. Did not make a single cut.

Tile snap cutter
Would RecommendThis cutter was a great value for the price. Easy to use, makes great cuts

Works in a pinch and works fine if only a couple tiles need cutting. Would go with a wet saw if renovating with big tiles. Would like to have a better tile guide instead of flimsy plastic one.

Cuts Beveled Glass Tile Perfectly!!
So, I watch this YouTube video on how to cut glass tiles, and say to myself, "Hey self, you can do this!" So I bought it at Lowes and went to town on my Elida beveled glass subway tiles #915726. It comes with two blades, but never needed to change the blade until my last two cuts which were lengthwise cuts. That didn't work, even with the fresh blade. The tiles cut exactly the same way, so there is something in the way they are made, but short cuts are PERFECT!! I had very few glass slivers and ...

Nice tool for the money!
Would RecommendThis is a quality tool at an affordable price for the DIY'er. The blade is easily replaced and the beams can be rotated when they start showing signs of wear. Perfect for the backsplash project we did in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend this tool, even if it's something you'll only use on one project. Well worth the money.
