What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this torch for eliminating weeds without chemicals, highlighting its effectiveness in driveway cracks and sidewalks while eliminating bending and spraying. Many appreciate the lightweight, ergonomic design and push-button ignition, noting it's simple to operate and versatile for grills, campfires, and moss removal. However, a notable group reports the igniter fails after limited use, with flames extinguishing when the torch heats up and requiring cooling to relight. Some mention weak power output and short fuel runtime. Despite these issues, most customers consider it highly effective for small-scale weed control.

Works as advertised on weeds
Would RecommendI’ve owned one before and gave it away when I sold my house. Now we’re back in a rental home and so are the weeds. I really like this product.

A new way to get rid of weeds
Would RecommendThis product works exactly as expected. I used up the small propane cans left over from the travel trailer we sold this Spring. It is very simple to set up and light, and incinerates weeds in just a few seconds. I spread 24 tons of gravel a few weeks ago and the weeds came bursting through. I like clean and clear gravel and the Cane Torch makes it possible. No more digging and bending. Just a slow walk around the yard. A great product that I strongly recommend.

Best weed burner I've ever used
I replaced a cheaper weed burner with a Bernz-O-Matic from the local hardware store in Nikiski, Alaska. I've tried several kinds of weed burners with mixed, usually disappointing results. This one was easy to use, precise, and efficient, really the best weed burner I've tried. I quickly burnt off even hemp nettle, a dreadful invasive weed that chokes out everything else, while still being able to avoid harming the garlic that it was growing among. It's a little on the spendy side, but it's worth...

Not impressed. We can send men to the moon but....
Would Not RecommendThis is my 3rd wand. The igniters wear-out too soon. This 3rd one just won't stay lit. I waste 1/2 a bottle of gas just lighting the darn thing. It's going in the recycle bin. It is also hard for me to light anyway: I'm short so I have to lift my arm fully to get end in reach for sparker.....up, down, up, down, up, down....that's about how lng it stays lit. Sigh. I have no clue where the purchase reciept is, so Warranty isn't an option.

It's fantastic.
Would RecommendThree major uses: 1) lighting fires and keeping them going in my woodstoves. The torch end is well away from me. It throws fire all around the base of kindling or logs and quickly and easily brings back moribund fires, I use it all winter long, 2) Getting and keeping outdoor burn piles going, of branches from pruning firewood cutting, etc. Makes these jobs much much easier. 3) For professional firefighters, excellent for starting backfires. I don't do this. When my daughter was a wildland firefi...

Waste of money
Would Not RecommendThis thing works for about two minutes and then it will not stay lit. I'm not sure what the problem is but it sounds like it's a common issue.
