What Customers Are Saying
The tool performs adequately for basic coaxial cable repairs, but some users report issues with its durability and effectiveness. While it can effectively strip and crimp cables, saving time and money compared to professional services, a significant number of customers found it failed to properly complete the job, requiring additional tools or manual effort. The tool's construction is also described as cheap and flimsy, with some reporting it broke after limited use. Overall, it may be a suitable budget-friendly option for occasional, light-duty tasks, but may not be reliable or durable enough for frequent or more complex cable work.

Would RecommendAtlantic Broadband decided to drill and rout my Tennants coax lines thru my basement window frames. Picked up this little gem to fix it temporarily. Works well and is super easy to use.

Garbage
Would Not RecommendPlastic garbage... faile to cut through the sheath properly. Then failed to compress the connector properly. All around completely useless. Spend a little more and pass on this garbage tool.

Great Product for the DIYer!!!
Would RecommendIt did everything as advertised. I did not give it 5 stars due to the construction of the tool. If this was used heavily it would not last because it is made out of plastic. If you are a DIYer and just putting ends on one cable it is perfect.

Worked great!
Would RecommendPerfect lil tool for DYI projects. Made of plastic, definitely not for professional use. Worked great for around the house TV cable projects. Used on RG6 coaxial quad shield cable wire.

cheap cable tool
Would Not RecommendI read reviews before buying this tool, most were good. I tried to use it, it cut the outer sheath and wire (wire is not supposed to be cut) and did not cut inner insulation. I tried to cut cable (rg6) multiple times without luck, even tried a different cable brand (same rg6) with same results. I was able to finally strip cable properly without this tool,Then I attempted to install an end also without luck. I returned the tool to the store for refund.

Did what It had to do
Would RecommendThe product functioned and completed the task it was made to do. When stripping the cable, I found that closing the tool all the way stripped off the shielding as well as the exterior. I had to gingerly squeeze it in order to only penatrate the outer coating while leaving the metal shielding intact. It feels quite cheap, and I wouldn’t trust it to last more than the six connectors provided in the kit.

Did I get a defective one?
Would Not RecommendI have a nice set of Klein tools for coaxial cable I've been using for years. I can't find them so I decided to try these while the others are missing. Terrible. The rear cutter cuts through sheathing and the braided shield and the front cutter doesn't cut through the dielectric. Piece of garbage out of the box.
Good product
Would RecommendGood for the small jobs! It worked great for the small job I bought it for. User friendly to use also!
