I used it for my indoor plants, and I’ll definitely be using them for my outdoor potted plants this spring. You can tell it’s a high quality dirt with lots of nutrients. Highly recommend!

Great product. Full of chunky organic material

Better than most

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This potting mix is indeed “better”, as advertised. As you can see, my pothos has thrived since I changed the mix that it came with to this back to the roots mix. It seems to do a good job holding water for the plant without letting it linger in the planter for too long. Works great, doesn’t smell gross, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a planter mix!

Good quality soil

Great potting mix, works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The potting mix is great, doesn't clump, does not have a strong odor. Water drains through well. Used it on the raised vegetable and fruit bed. Has not caused any pests and works well with our compost.

Nice texture

Don't water too much

Just add it to my current pot with my current plant and occasionally water. But my plant died, I've had my plant for about a year and it was the only indoor plant I was able to keep alive this long until I added this fertilizer to it(see before/after pics). The water drainage was not great for my indoor plant. But this fertilizer worked just fine for ...

So far it has a good te ture compared to others, no insects that i have seen in the plants that have it in it already and definitely no mold growth so far seems to hold water well and drain what's not needed its a good volume in one bag for the potting of plants that I do as I cannot have a garden where I live.

Fresh earthy smell. Can be used for outdoor/indoor plants. Prices do vary from store to store. It's organic, did notice a few pieces of wood.

Decent soil

High Quality

beginner friendly soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using back to the roots for almost 5 years and love it! It is beginner friendly and pretty much no-fail. I’ve grown vegetables as well as flowers with the all purpose mix and both have been successful.

Potting mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a little bit in my beds that I have now however, when I got it to do the review, we started getting a cold front come in so I didn’t wanna waste a lot of of it soon just around the corner. I’ll be using it to restart up my vegetable garden and I can’t wait and I will definitely update my review.
