Just arrived, and I am so happy! This is my second MOUSE BDEMS600, and the first sander that I had ever purchased. The first one only lasted 4 years but worked so well I jumped right on purchasing a new one.

Great sander

Bought this to sand down kitchen cabinet faces and doors to refinish. It worked great and got into the corners really well, plenty of power, easy on my hands and really reduced the amount of hand sanding required for this project. I would highly recommend this sander. Great little sander for the price.

Great sander for older hands

I love this sander! Its great for older hands especially arthritic hands. Its easier to grasp and you can grasp two different ways. Highly recommended.

Works fine

Works fine, but pad will wear out if you don't change covers often

Broke after 10 minutes light use

It broke after 10 minutes light use. I think it has a design flaw. The vibration cracked the plastic around the tip screw and the tip fell off. That’s the second one I bought that broke that way.

This sander is garbage!

Last just over Lowes warranty. I only used this a couple times for normal sanding and already is stop working. Was a total waste of money and I will never buy Black & Decker products again. I thought this was a decent sander but I sure was wrong. Now I have a $44.00 paper weight! Do yourself a favor and buy different brand!

Good sander

This works well for my purposes. I've used it for refinishing small end tables with good results. Easy to use, I like the dual options for gripping, lightweight. Overall I like it for small projects.

You still get some dust even with the little dust catcher but it works great

Great for sanding

Good, works well and easy to operate and ergonomic. I am a weekend “do it yourself” furniture making kind of person. This orbital sander has been great for me. A bit large for tight corners, but it has tip attachments that solve the problem. Been using it and it helps me cut down some time needed for sanding.

Great for smaller areas.

I purchased this to finish doing my tricky banister. It was a time saver. The smaller attachment really helped get into hard to reach areas. My only complaint is the pad started to wear away pretty quick in the front. I guess maybe because part of it detaches for the small attachment but it didn't affect the functioning.

Wife buys tool

My wife stated she needed a sander in which she could get into the intricate corners of some of the pieces of furniture she is working on.

Cheap garbage. Did not last six months!

I purchased this in June 2020 and this was dead before December 2020 started. This was the only detailed (mouse) sander that was in stock at Lowes and I had some detailed work I needed to finish for a customer so I purchased it hoping that this sander might prove me wrong on black and decker. Just what I needed!

I'm in the process of sanding the paint off of my kitchen cabinets (2-3 layers of paint over the original stain). After scraping as much paint off as possible with a heat gun, then using an orbital sander for most of the surfaces, I still needed a sanding tool to get into the edges and corners. This detail sander was exactly what I needed. It enabled me to remove paint in the spots that the orbital sander could not reach. It's lightweight so it was much easier on my arms than the orbital sander,...

Just the tip

If you are using this to do corners the foam wore out in lest then 30 minutes of use. Wouldn’t recommend unless you just plan on using the flat or center of the sander.

Furniture re-finisher

Honestly haven't tried this out yet but based on reviews I think it will meet my needs for small furniture refinishing tasks. Order and pickup very smooth.
