Would Not RecommendI bought this product to help me do some detail sanding on a rocking chair I was refinishing. It did well till I tried to use the finger attachment. Not only did the finger break off but the whole plastc piece that you screw the screw into to hold the attachment on broke and now I can't use it because there is no point on it and the sandpaper just shreds when you try to use it. Cheaply made. Used it once and it broke.

Would Not RecommendI bought this sander in March 2021 and use it lightly for hobby projects. June 2021 it just quit in mid use. It was always kept cleaned and garage maintained. It is a great sander when it works. For the amount of use I would expect a year or longer.

Would Not RecommendDisposable tool, plastic parts snapped and B&D does not have replacement parts and never offered these parts in the past when new. Would be an easy fix- planned failure.

Would RecommendGreat sander for detail work and small projects. Easy to control compared to the orbital sander it replaced. I really like the small extension for getting into tight places and the easy to empty dust collector.

Nice, but not very durable
Would Not RecommendI bought a Mouse Detail Sander to re-do my deck rails. The mouse is easy to operate and small enough to get into tight spaces. The dust trap is a nice feature, but the connector loosens over time and isn't staying attached like it should. Also, the hook and loop surface wears down quickly over time and can get easily clogged, making it difficult for the sandpaper pads to stick.

Would RecommendGood sander for tight spaces. The sanding sheets that came with it were a little undersized for unit but overall worked well.

Would RecommendThis is not a sander for rough use or extended duty. It performs well for lighter projects and is holding up well for that type of use

Hand Held Black & Decker Electric Sander
Would RecommendPurchased so that we could strip/sand down some pieces that my wife picked up at an auction. Worked perfectly, no problems at all. It is well built and very reasonably priced, great value, highly recommend. Plan on using again as soon as my wife picks up some more items, just need to get some more sand paper. I would only use this for light duty, definitely not a heavy duty sander, but not expensive either. As the saying goes "Happy wife, happy life". Hope this helps
