I would not buy this product again

I didn't realize that I would have to empty the dirty water container so many times. I always make sure that I vacuum the floor very thoroughly before I use the cleaner machine. Great Cleaning Power, But Beware of the Wetness

Another with a belt issue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans great when it works! But..... The belt keeps rubbing against the side of the machine. It's melting the plastic and smells hot and you can tell it's close to breaking the belt. I've had this machine for under a year. I've cleaned two rooms. Now I can barely make it through 1/4 a room before the belt moves and stops.

gets clogged with hair, barely sucks water back up. just garbage in general. i bought it today and i will be returning immediately

Cleans dirt well, doesn’t pick up any hair, just pushes it into clumps

Gave it an honest try...just doesn't work

I purchased this to clean my floors. It did clean well, except that when it had about 2" of water in the return reservoir, it would shut off. It would clean about 4 to 6 square foot before it had to be emptied or it simply would not run. Tried the trouble shooting steps, no results so I returned the product.

working great until it wasn't

First day using it, it was working perfectly then it started making a weird noise. I stopped using it, thinking maybe it needs to take a break. I started it again and it started smoking. Hopefully this one was just faulty because I read tons of great reviews.

I would not buy this product again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this carpet cleaner for about a year and a half and did not have to use it much. However the belt did frequently break which is not a hard fix but inconvenient. The clean water tank would leak like crazy and the floor would always be soaked after using it the suction is not good on it. We took very good care of it and cleaned it deeply when we used it. I wish it would've been better but I do recommend saving your money on this one.

Does a great job. We love Bissell.

Liked that we, as older adults, can carry it upstairs - easily!

WILL BREAK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were only able to use this carpet cleaner twice before the belts broke multiple times. We replaced the belts twice before deciding this carpet cleaner is a lost cause. Every time it broke, it spewed out dirty water, which made my carpets even worse. It overheats so much that the belts just melt off. Very dangerous and smelled like fire every time I turned it on. There are better carpet cleaners, do not waste your money on this fire hazard.

It didn't even last a year. I never thought it cleaned very well at all. Constant struggle. Says it's made for pets, however, it couldn't keep up with my 2 dogs. Don't throw your money away. Make a different choice.
