Does not allow dry passes

Purchased just under a year ago. From the date of purchase, we have been unable to utilize any dry passes. Every time after we pull the trigger the machine continues to steam, leaving a small section of our carpet to be soaked, and utilizing the entire container of solution. I've tried to trouble shoot it but have been unable to correct the issue. I'm not sure if this is the reason why it seems our stains have not come up or if it's the stains themselves.

It's a glorified hand brush.

I'm not sure anything is being cleaned so much as it's being soaked in soap. It doesn't dry at all. Even the instructions say it can take up to 8 hours to dry because they know the cleaner isn't going to do it. The steam function is negligible and limited. The instructions say don't use the steam function on urine or blood. The two things that you would most want to steam treat and disinfect. The brushes pile up soap on the carpet since suction is awful and since it doesn't have a separate fresh...

suction is not good i can go over the carpet 10 or even 20 time and it's still wet for 24 hrs , way too much detergent is suggested cut in half or less go over cleaned area with hot water and see how much soap is left , otherwise it's better than my old Bissel cleaner also a pain to clean the machine , it doe's clean the carpet

I would buy this again and again.

I’ve had this carpet cleaner for over two years. The first time I used it was to clean my entire homes old carpet and WOW those old stains were no where to be seen. Since then it’s been used to removed coffee spills, pet & baby accidents, soup, mud, etc. Does great to keep the carpet fresh with regular maintenance, too. It only takes a few hours to dry completely which I find impressive considering how much cleaning solution it initially puts down! My only complaint is once you’re done using it ...

It definitely cleans with a minor con

I have a 20+ yr old pro heat X's 2 bissell that was definitely a heavier machine. It cleaned but you'd have to disassemble to clean but carpets were pretty dry. My new evolution pet machine which also has the steam like the pro heat X2 but is much lighter machine. People complain about wet carpets on the steam/clean option vs Dry or no steam. Gotta be honest want clean carpets use the steam option as dry doesn't dispense any real solution which is why your carpets will be pretty dry. ...

Poor quality junk

Got this as a Christmas gift. We used it two total times. Both times it leaked the entire clean water tank out in minutes. It leaks even when it isn't on. Water just pours out of the bottom. Bissell support keeps telling me to check the tanks, both clean and dirty. It's not the tanks. It's not the caps, it's deeper into the machine and it makes this expensive unit so bad it actually causes more damage from water than stains it cleans.

Amazing for pet houses.

We foster dogs and sometimes have up to eight in the house, so our carpet cleaner gets used a lot. I upgraded to this Bissell from a smaller model because I needed something with more cleaning power, a larger tank capacity, and better deep-cleaning performance. This cleaner delivers on all of that. It is a little heavier than my old one, but the extra weight is worth it for the cleaning results. I usually use it once or twice a week, and it has handled the job really well.

Impressive

Easy to use. Easy to assemble and clean! It definitely got a deep clean. Didn’t expect the amount of dirty water.

What a gem!

Love this machine! We have two small dogs who use grass mats inside, but occasionally, they miss. Bissell to the rescue! Brings my carpet to like-new condition. Forward: wash, back: dry. Double set of brushes. Easy to operate and so easy to clean! Put it in the tray, turn it on, automatically cleans itself! It's worth it, believe me!

Happy So Far

I received my Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam Pet cleaner. During assembly, I had a little difficulty having the handle click in place. It is a “have to do” in order for the cleaner to operate. Don’t move forward till it clicks in place. I used it immediately to spot clean a few pet stains. IT WORKS! I then followed directions on how to clean the unit. IT WAS EASY! My homework: review the speed up drying process. I was in such a hurry to use it; I skipped reading this section in instruction guid...

Does not suction very well. Rugs stay too damp. Cleans well

Unsatisfied and poor quality

Unhappy with product because it is heavy and too difficult to use the tools parts
