Would RecommendIn the past, I've always rented steam cleaners for my carpets. I took the plunge and purchased the Bissell. It does a very good job on the carpets - equal or better than the ones I've rented in the past. Gave it four stars because I found the upholstery attachment to be less effective. It puts out too much water, leaving water spots on the furniture. I solved this by using a spray bottle to mist the furniture and then the attachment to withdraw it.

Would RecommendI love the fact that the tanks are on top of each other making it easy to empty them. My old one was one tank and extremely heavy. Love this. Leans beautifully.

A Top of the Line Home Unit
Would RecommendI am impressed with the thought put into the design of this unit. The ability to select a deep clean or quick clean is helpful. The impressive suction was surprising. The ability to easily remove the brush cover for cleaning is very helpful. The dirty water container is easy to empty. Only two things I would like improved were the motor noise and a few more feet on the power cord would be nice. For a home unit, this is a winner.
