Carpet Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The operation instructions were a bit slim but I figured it out. So far, I've used it on carpet and am pleased with the results. Since I was a new operator, I did go over the carpet a second time with only water (not the soap) to make sure the solution had been extracted. I was glad I did.

I did some research before buying this model. I recommend this model because the foot easily disassembles with the push of 2 buttons for cleaning. The machine is easy to use and does a great job. Be prepared, if you are using the deep cleaning mode, you are going to use a lot of soap. Bissel recommends 2 ounces of cleaning fluid per one gallon of water for heavily soiled areas. Its worth it, It cleans great. The machine does put down a lot of fluid in the deep clean mode but it does pull it back...

OMG!!

Well I'm blown away. I had no idea that my carpets were so filthy. First of all it's easy to put together and use. Yes the tanks empty and fill fast. I used my wet dry vac to use to empty dirty wAter in to make less trips. But it's worth it. And like other reviewers say the upholstery attachment doesn't work with a crap. But at this point I'm so satisfied with the unit itself that I really don't care. Love it

But also accidents from humans. It's lite weigh. which makes it easy to move around. I can pull it and use it anytime.

Completely obsessed

Make carpet look good, but they smell musty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't notice any heating at all of the cleaning solution. It didn't feel any warmer than when I put it in the tank. The float on the collection tank is set way too conservatively. It shut off the cleaner when it was only about 1/3 full. I was constantly having to empty the tank. My carpet looks very clean, but it smells bad and has smelled bad for over a week. I never had this problem with my old Hoover steam cleaner.

Works great but needs bigger tanks

The machine does a great job and is easy to use but I found myself stopping constantly to empty the collection tank.

It works great with some augmentation to the instructions!

Not happy that fresh/clean solution was being sucked into dirty reservoir on initial forward passes before it could be scrubbed into the carpet. Seems a waste of cleaning solution. For best results on deep clean I apply solution on a forward pass, lift the brushes and reset for the next part of the area and repeat until I've covered the area, allowing the solution scrubbed into the carpet to sit for 10-20 m...

I bought my second ProHeat 2X Revolution and would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd ProHeat 2X. I used the ProHeat 2X Revolution Carpet Cleaner to shampoo all my carpeting. It had excellent suction to extract all the dirty solution. I used the hose and attachments for the steps. The suction was not as good as the floor suction. The spray shot worked ok but took awhile to learn how to line it up to the dirty spot. It was easy to clean the machine. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Have pet stains - buy this vacuum

This vacuum works wonders on fresh pet stains, quickly and efficiently cleaning them up. For older stains, it may take two or three cleanings, but it does an excellent job at removing both stubborn stains and odors.
