Not worth the money

To put it short. 1- First one motor burnt out…returned 2-Second one. One-shot and handle solution release stuck open… returned 3-Third one. Yes third. Motor again burnt out after about 2 1/2 years of use. This one went to trash due to warranty expiration date. Difficulties with Bissell company. When calling customer service, good luck talking with someone in the United States. You will get someone saying they are “off shore”, or they are in another country. Worked real good on remedying a bowl fish chowder on the carpet. Instructions were fine and understandable.

You can’t buy a better product than BISSELL

This BISSELL ProHeat 2X Carpet Cleaner is an upgrade to a similar model that I had for 10 years!! BISSELL makes quality products that clean as well as any professional steam cleaner! I have dogs and steam clean my carpets often. BISSELL never lets me down. I highly recommend this product.

Complete waste of money.

The biggest piece of junk I’ve ever wasted my money on. I’ve used it probably 10 times, just my living room. The bottom part no longer clicks in, the suction no longer works, it wont put any formula out. Completely useless. The clean water plastic broke within 1 week. PLEASE do not waste your money. Buy from another brand, Bissel is complete junk.

Oozes Rust and Won’t suck anymore

I bought this less than 2 years ago and it’s already unusable. It oozes rust and doesn’t suck anything up so you just have a heavily saturated still messy carpet. Tried taking it apart to fix but seems to be within the inner portions where the rust is oozing out from the exhaust air vents.

Great at removing tough staines

I have owned a bissell carpet cleaner for 20 plus years and it was time to upgrade. The latest modle has many upgrades and is very easy to use. It is like using a vacume cleaner and has seperat contai ers for dirty and clean water now. I like the tool that allows you to get trapped hair out of the roller cover. The product performed well throughout my house. Shampooed area rugs, low nap and Berber carpeting. I was amazed by the amount of dirty water in the pickup reservoir. I have used rental machines in the past and the ProHeat uses less solution without the soapy residue felling of a rental.

Second time to purchase.

Had it over 3 years now and it still works great! We have 2 dogs and it gets up everything. The dirt, stains, and dog hair! We are super pleased with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second choice. My first choice was the ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner but it was out of stock. I'm using it for periodic cleaning of my homes carpet. So far I'm impressed with the cleaning ability and how quickly the carpet dried. Cleanup was fairly easy. I did find it extremely difficult to clean the clear plastic area above the roller without removing the roller.

Made a vast improvement in the smell and look of our carpet.
