I bought the ProHeat Bissell, the motor burned out before I finished using it the first time. I returned it and it was replaced. The second machine stopped the water flow to the brushes after the first use.

Would RecommendSo far so good. I cleaned two rooms with light shade carpet. We have 2 dogs and one of the rooms had 'accident' stains on it for several months. I was very impressed that this Bissell machine cleaned. The stains are mostly gone and can see if you really look closely. It did a great job cleaning all of the carpet in both rooms. Does a great job, reasonable price
Would RecommendSuction quality and efficiency is good. Durability and longevity is the only question mark I have. This is replacing a prior Bissell (almost exactly similar) that lasted three years under heavy usage, where the belt gave out. Thankfully they had a good promotion on this. We will see, crossing fingers.

Not good for actual use
It's an upright with a huge tank (1 gal). The issue is that the waste collection only allows about a THIRD of that before the float pushes to the top and stops ALL suction. That means you'll be draining that tank, at a third full (or less), and going back to work. That tank is HUGE and it's COMPLETELY useless. Do not recommend for anything but small stains, but you might as well get a MUCH cheaper model for that. This is not heavy duty by design because of this.
