Awesome lock!! This is my second August deadbolt and it’s fantastic’nn

August smart lock adapter

Bought this several years ago with the auxiliary adapter pad to give out physical codes as needed. Install was easy I have drill and auto experience. I would say hardest part is drilling for the sensors to read the door open or closed. Batteries get eaten pretty quick usually averaging 2 months using energizer batteries anything else is even less. However we do use the auto lock unlock feature and our kids use there codes so you might get better life if you have less usuage.

Lock with ease

[Employee of august] My home came with a Kwikset lock but after 2 years the motor failed & did not want to work anymore, My dad has had his august for 4+ years & it is still doing great. Installation was super easy if you follow the video & I love that I have a peace of mind knowing my door is locked & I can control it.

We've had this on our house for over 2 years now. It works very well. Occasionally it has a bit of difficulty hooking up to the internet but it never fails to hook up. They're just might be a little delay.

Elegant and effective

I have owned this lock for about a year and a half now. I live in a rental property and being able to install this lock without having to change out the whole mechanism or rekey the door was awesome. It just works seamlessly, and also makes it easy when family are friends visit to give them access to the house. I would recommend buying rechargeable batteries to go with it. I just bought a set of four and rotate them out. I can't recommend this lock enough.

Z-Wave Integration

We bought locks for our home because they had z-wave integration. August is apparently no longer supporting z-wave integration so we have four locks that don't work the way we want them to work. Very disappointed.

Smart Locks are RAD!!!
