It’s a great lock and you don’t need to change the front door locks which in some cases HOA doesn’t permit.

I’ve been using August smart locks for years and have recommended them to family members, but this experience completely changed my opinion. Our August Wi-Fi Smart Lock unlocked itself in the middle of the night multiple times without logging the event. That is a serious safety issue. Safety Risk

August smart lock poses a safety risk to me and family. I purchased my home one year ago which came with an August smart lock. Despite offering to provide proof of purchase and residency, August refuses to allow me to register the lock in my name. Therefore allowing anyone who has had previous access to our August lock able to unlock our home and come in without our consent or knowledge. Bought about 2 years ago. Works great but sucks up the 123a batteries too fast or I would have given it five stars! We use it all the time when not carrying keys

Amazing Lock

We’ve had this lock for about a year now and it’s hands down the best ever. Having the lock open when I drive up and my hands are full of bags is a HUGE game changer! It’s great to be able to unlock the door wherever I’m at and the auto lock feature gives me peace of mind when the kids are the last ones out.
