No more messing with keys I love this clock it works so well

Was really leary about buying this lock due to the complaints about short battery life. Got it anyway due to good professional reviews. I’ve had it for a couple months now and no message yet to replace the batteries. Full transparency, I did not install the sensor for auto door unlock from your phone as we mostly use the garage door for entry. So that likely helps with battery life. I wanted this lock for use when the kids visit or to be able to let a repair man in.

This has definitely upgraded our lives! We've had this for over 2 years and it provides extreme convenience for those moments where we are coming in and out the house or welcoming guests. A push of a button unlocks the door and the central person gets a notification when it's used. The only thing I would warn people about is to make sure your door is all the way closed when you try to lock it because if not it'll cause the door to stay open. My fourth new August Lock- keeps getting better

I started buying August locks probably 10 years ago. I’ve used them for my house, my Airbnb, my mother’s house, everywhere I can so I can avoid carrying a key on a ring. They have gotten better and better. This is my first August with built in WiFi-a huge improvement. My 83 year old mother, 99% of my Airbnb guests, and friends and family are able to operate them without incident. I have used the app, key pads and WiFi bridges. August lock.

I like the Wi-Fi version that I have. I still have the last modellaying around here somewhere but I digress…. The set up is easy enough and connecting to the iPhone is super easy. I never used those door sensors so I can’t comment on that. The only negative is that I just wish that they were different batteries and they lasted a lot longer. I saw someone else comment about this so it’s not just me. Other than that, my August lock is great!

Not loving it tbh

The Bluetooth auto-unlock only works about 50-60% of the time. Most annoying part is that the batteries die so quickly and they are expensive CR123 batteries. I’m replacing them every couple months. An older model lock I have that used AA batteries lasts longer and costs less.

Does not work outside the USA

Garbage. It is geo-locked to the USA. They do not mention this anywhere, and there is not reason for it

I got it as a father's day gift from my son I can invite my family to download you can lock in lock even while you are away from home

Best thing ever so far

Had it for a couple months and works perfect !! Easy setup. The door sensor doesn’t calibrate but who cares it locks and unlocks with ease. I use it in the motorhome.
