Nice Upgrade

Upgraded from v3: setup went well and this smaller and simpler unit provides the features I need on a lock mechanism which is only on one side of the door (preserving the classic door hardware that we use in this townhome community)

I’m happy I bought this product I have a toddler that was too good at opening the door. This product has an auto lock feature so I don’t have to double check the doors. The only issue I’ve had with it is sometimes the Auto Unlock takes a minute

August Wi-Fi Lock

Have used the August Wi-Fi lock for about two years. The lock has proven to be very beneficial. Battery life is very good in the winter because you leave the door closed. If you like the door open in the summer then the batteries don’t last as long because the lock is reminding you that it can’t keep you safe if the door is open

So convenient

I first experienced using an August Smart Lock at an AirBnb in Seattle and when we moved, we decided to install one for ourselves. It is the best. We have frequent guests and giving them the freedom to come and go without having to keep track of a key is perfect for our lifestyle. We also love the convenience of being able to lock and unlock from a distance.
