very wet, if kept in the garage it would freeze, making it a useless block

The price was a great price but out of the ten I ordered I only got four and three of four bags was damaged and I had to tape them up before I left the store to even load them when I ordered them they had 31 in stock they waited almost three hours to pull them and when they did they only had four in stock

It's very sandy and the outside tube is heavy. Duty usually lasts a year or two at least in the back of my pickup for traction before it starts to deteriorate

Heavy bag make truck happy.

It's heavy, around 70lbs. Sand does not leak from the bag. They're tied up well.

Worth purchasing

The bags seems durable and the truck has stopped sliding around.

Purchased this to help a friend level a pad for a 12' diameter above-ground pool. Ten bags was enough to do the job adequately, after considerable digging and raking, but if I had to do it over again I would have used an additional 4-5 bags to get a thicker base layer. One thing I liked about these, besides the fractionally lower price per cubic foot than the other bagged sand Lowe's had in stock, was the fact that the long narrow bags made it easy to spread while pouring it - I just cut off one...
