Would RecommendProduct was what I expected but the service was exceptional. I am a 75-year-old woman who needed 140 pounds of sand to stabilize a huge yard umbrella. I ordered the sand online, was notified when it was ready for pickup, called from the pickup area in front of the store. A nice young man helped me get the sand in my trunk and even helped get it into the provided sandbags. He was great! I wanted to take him home with me, but I lugged it to my backyard by myself!

Mislabelling of traction sand
Would Not RecommendHat lowes calls ‘traction sand’ is really ‘play sand’ in a bag that we can put in our car trunk to give weight over the wheels. But that is not traction sand and this product is mislabelled. You cannot use this product to spread on iced pavement since the consistency is like powdered flour. Real traction sand has grit, this does not. Do not buy it.
