Excellent design

Met or exceeded expectations in every respect. I especially liked the design feature that makes it easy and safe to leave outgoing mail for mailman (in our case, mailwoman) to pick up.

nice looking, but post not that strong

I like the visual design, but structurally it isn't as strong as it looks at first. In any altercation with an automobile, this postbox will always lose.

Great size!

This was a replacement mailbox and I really like how much mail it will hold! I can leave for a week and not worry about mail stacking up, or being vulnerable to theft - thanks to the lock on this mailbox and its huge capacity for mail. Very pleased, but wish I could have gotten it in white. Spray painted worked just fine, though.

Classy appearance

LIKE: Design, sturdy, locks. Dislike: Assembling was a pain. It takes 2 people to put it together. Only envelopes/small packages can't be any thicker than a couple of inches. Very pricy ..... I did not give it 5 stars because of the limitation on the mail that can be put in it.

I bought this because my last one was damaged and I needed one with the same hole pattern for mounting on the sidewalk. The mailbox itself is great but the pedestal is a little flimsy.

Pictures don’t show the real box

The mailbox is to short one post only makes it 27 inch tall, and the pictures shown makes you believe that you can put a ton of mail in the box. NOT TRUE there is only a small opening for letters. Retuned

Don’t do it

I am the type of person who never leaves reviews but relies on reviews before I order. We had such an awful experience, I feel I had to leave a review to warn people. Yes, it’s nice looking. The pro list stops there. We have had it less than two years and it has basically fallen apart on its own. We kept finding its screws just sitting inside the mailbox, our mail gets wet, the lock sticks often, and it is chipping all over the place on the outside! Do yourself a favor and keep looking. Not really available

"Ready for pickup: Estimated 3 - 7 days" is not true. Waited two weeks with "Pickup information currently unavailable." Can't wait indefinitely with no information, and neither should you.

Mail box review

Mail box is good construction. Some fasteners were missing and no dowel pins for the door. I had to make dowels and find fasteners. Instructions were poor.

Cheap metal, cracked within months

We love the look and functionality but we live in snow country and often have temperatures well below freezing. The base of the pedestal is made out of very thin "pot-metal". Just months after installing the base cracked in multiple locations. I had a machine shop fabricate a much heavier steel replacement base. So far so good. The new base cost more than the mailbox :-(
