Mount less Mess of a Mailbox

The Finial did not have holes that lined up so you could not install it we called the Company and they said they have had this problem with all of them not lining up but the new fixed ones are not available yet and they don't know when they will be but will mail us one at that time.

Missing hinges

The mailbox is sturdy however the door broke first day it’s missing the hinges why wasn’t the door already attached when purchased?

Beware - It Leaks

If you can't fully seat the screws (with the rubber washers) that hold the little decorative top on, it will leak. Mine didn't thread cleanly and I assembled it with one not fully seated. It leaks.

Soaked mail

Every time it rains even just a light rain, our entire mail is soaked.

Great buy

The mailbox is designed way better and has more options than my previous similar type mailbox. It has a much wider base and hopefully won't break like my last one. It has a lock too. Some people said they had problems with leaking so we caulked all of the places we could.

The mailbox is very light in material

It’s a good mailbox but the material is a lot lighter than I thought it should be

That it locks on the side instead of the back

I thought it was advertised as having the lock in the back, I was surprised that the lock was on the side, that's all

Seal the bottom to prevent insects from entering

Easy set up and is sturdy given the heat and humidity in my area
