Would Not RecommendThe post itself was easy to put together and into the ground Getting it asembled to the mailbox and understanding the directions on how to do so was a different story. Nothing lined up and the picture diretions which lacked in the way of dialouge made little to no sense. I had to drill and improvise.

Too Flimsy
Would Not RecommendThis post is too light weight for a larger mailbox like the Century. Get a heavy duty steel post or a treated 4x4 with an adaptor plate. This looks good but I doubt it will last for more than a couple of months.
Some suggestions
Would Recommend1. Probably putting a sleave in the ground, eg PVC would be a good improvement for concrete. 2. Screws washers and nuts for the mailbox extensions could be replaced with less awkward hardware. 3. The extensions for length could be adjustable for wide or just longer boxes. 4. Since the USPS is specific in its box height above the ground, why not have markings for minimum and maximum on the post?

Junk, Pipe in Two Sections
Would Not RecommendThe pipe is cut for ease of shipping and the connecting piece is cheap hardware that dies not make a tight fit.
