What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this topsoil for excellent value and affordability, with many noting significant savings compared to local alternatives. Reviewers highlight its effectiveness for filling holes, leveling yards, seeding lawns, and mixing into raised beds, appreciating its lightweight nature and ease of handling. Several mention it blends well with existing soil to improve texture and drainage. However, some customers express disappointment about visible wood chips, mulch, or compost rather than pure topsoil, and a few report finding foreign objects or mold in frozen bags. Despite these concerns, most consider it a reliable, cost-effective choice for routine yard maintenance.

Would Not RecommendI got 25 bags of this stuff, feel ripped off. Its about 50-60% bark. Hardly any soil in these bags. That's why its cheap. Also had a few bits of plastic in it. Would have been cheaper to get some from the local landscape yard and it'd be higher quality.
Full of wood chips
Would Not RecommendGreat price but last I checked cows don’t excrete wood chips so why is this compost loaded with them? Pretty useless

Beware of reviews that say beware
Would RecommendI bought 150 bags of this for 300$ my other option was local which was just shy of 1,000$ not a single piece of trash. I drove by a pile of top soil looked like it had more wood chips in it, what I appreciate about the wood chips is that it retains water instead of drying out immediately.
Beware
Would Not RecommendI bought a mix of this and Lowe's manure (over 50 bags), mixing into my garden beds with some existing soil. Nothis is growing. All my vegetables have been stunted while the seedlings I passed onto friends are 5x the size. My only vegetables that are thriving are where I didn't use this soil. Something is wrong with it.. maybe a chemical was used. I'm never buying this again. You don't know what you're getting.
