What Customers Are Saying
The adjustable jack post is generally an effective and affordable solution for supporting sagging floors, beams, and other structural issues. Many found it easy to install and adjust, and it was able to stabilize and lift their floors as needed. The product is described as sturdy and functional, though some noted the header/footer plates are thin. Customers appreciated the adjustability, which allowed them to fine-tune the height as required, and several mentioned using it to temporarily support structures during repairs. However, a few cautioned that the adjustment mechanism needs to be handled carefully to avoid pinching fingers. Overall, the jack post seems to be a practical and budget-friendly option for homeowners dealing with structural problems, though the quality of some components may be a concern for more heavy-duty or long-term use.

Keep fingers away from adjustment holes
Would RecommendExtremely easy to adjust to the required height and to relocate. I was concerned about how I would use it to extract the temporary post I had installed earlier but there was no problem and I was able to install the post in a place out of the flow of traffic. One safety warning I would pass along is that the edges of the holes in the post halves that the chrome bolts are inserted into are EXTREMELY SHARP. When adjusting the pole height be careful to keep your hands and fingers away from these hol...

I am currently raising a sagging floor due to water damaged floor joists. Set-up was easy and I am about 1/2 way through the actual adjustment. 1/2 turn each week. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the boxes appeared to have been on the shelf for quite a while. While the small parts were in a sealed bag that with lubrication, the posts themselves had some rust along the side. 2 of the nuts screwed on by hand pretty easily, the other 2 did not.

Pay more and hopefully get a better product
Would Not RecommendI bought this and it's installed, but I certainly would not have picked this out in the store if I had seen the materials used for the header and footer. Really cheap, thin metal -- maybe??? a 1/4-inch thick? -- maybe less. The post itself is fine and sturdy, but I can't say much for header/footer.

Ends not square
Would RecommendI had to dress up the ends which would not seat flat out of the box. Ends were bumpy. Still worked fine.

Does the job!
Would RecommendUsed these to reinforce a 100 year old home which we acquired. Simple and economical. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do!
Does the Job, but Flimsy
Would Not RecommendI bought this model because it's adjustable. The part that houses the screw sits loosely on the top half of the pole, and isn't very stable until it's tightened fairly snugly against the object you need to support. The bottom half of the pole sits on a loose plate. I've rented and used other post jacks, all were built much sturdier. I'd only recommend this for a one-time use, unless you have a welder and can secure the top and bottom pieces to the posts.
