What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to be a versatile adjustable jack or support system suitable for various home improvement tasks. The jacks are generally easy to use and install, with simple adjustment mechanisms. However, the quality and durability are mixed, with some customers reporting issues like burrs and uneven plates, while others praised the sturdy construction. The jacks work best for smaller, lighter-duty applications like supporting furniture or leveling floors, and may not be suitable for larger, heavier-duty structural support. Overall, the product provides a cost-effective solution for DIY home projects when used within its intended capabilities, though some care and adjustment may be required for proper functioning.

Great Secondary Support
Would RecommendUsing it under a sunroom built on existing deck, does what I needed it to do. Raised my joist up 1.5 inches and the put it in place and it is holding up very well.

Too many pieces
Would Not RecommendI got this track to help with some shelving that I’m trying to put up in the barn to act as a support. Unfortunately, the plates are not connected to the post so the least little bit of movement and it all seems to kind of come apart. I’m sure they’re in a different set of circumstances it might have worked OK but doesn’t really fit well for what I was trying to do. I’m going to be finding other uses for them though. I will probably end up welding the plate To the base to at least stabilize that...
Unlevel old house
Would RecommendWe have a very old house and are remodeling the inside. Every room in the house is unlevel. Anytime someone walks through everything in the house rattles. Each room we remodel, we level the floor underneath first with these Jack's. It's been over a year since we started with the first room and the Jacks are holding up quite well. These Jacks were easy to use and do the job!
Did the job
Would RecommendNeeded to shore up a corner of our porch. This was actually a too tall to fit, but it was the shortest one available. I was able to cut down the smaller sleeve with a metal blade and chop saw and it did what I needed it to do.

Not so easy to use
Would Not RecommendIf they would have attached the base plate and top plate it would have made it easier to use. Instead you have to do a balancing act until you get everything lined up.

Easy to adjust
Would Not RecommendI bought two of these to support a sagging floor on a project I was working on at home. These things are extendable which makes them more useful for a variety of options. I needed mine shorter so I just cut the tubing down to the length I needed. Assembly is straight forward and the notch on the threaded rod fits a standard 3/4" open end wrench well. The only thing in my opinion that needs improvement is the thickness on the plates that go on the top and bottom. They are a little on the thin sid...

Not a product to use for houses.
Would Not RecommendI bought 3 of these hoping to reinforce the main beams supporting my house which are presently supported by 6"X 6" posts. These metal supports are made mainly for a steel beam and the NOTE in the instructions tells you how to use them on wooden support beams as a SECONDARY use. Since these supports are put together in pieces the whole post turns when you are trying to tighten it which throws it off level. Even though they are rated at 18,000 lbs I do not feel these are heavy duty enough to use i...
Tapco Jack Post gets the job done.
Would RecommendNo muss, no fuss. Just does the job it was designed for and does it inexpensively. Easy to assemble and use. I have used Tapco posts before and never had a problem. Thankfully so considering the nature of the job these jack posts are designed for.
