Would RecommendConsider the setup location first. It needs to be set up in the middle of yard or up on peak of roof. If you live in a subdivision (like us) you wouldn’t want to install in front yard because it will entice kids or jerks to mess or steal it. If you mount it to the house to make it work properly you have to set it at the roof peak to get the wind direction and speed accurate. Setting at roof peak means a ladder. It has batteries so who knows how many times you have to replace them in a year. If ...

GREAT DEVICE
Would RecommendVery good device. My wife is a weather "junkie" and she loves it - as do I. Make sure you mount it as high as possible to catch a more accurate wind reading. Unfortunately I didn't and because I secured it to a 4X4 post (so well) I can't change it.
