Becomes inconsistent after about one week
Would Not RecommendInstalled without a hitch. Made ice fine and frequently for about a week. Then became random in operation. Somedays not trays, somedays about two-three trays. Set fridge temps to recommended ones per Whirlpool website troubleshooting instructions. Did not help.

Don't trust what the sale person at Lowes tell you
The product work good but the whole experience was bad. I was told that it would be installed at my house once the refrigerator was delivered to my house. I was given the ice maker in a box at the store once I purchased it to go home with it so that I have it for them when the delivery men showed up with the refrigerator. I told them I have the icemaker and they said they don't install it. I had to pay a handing man to install it for me so more money that I wasn't planning on!!!!!!!!

Would RecommendIt started making ice early the next day of the installation. I let it feel bucket and as recommended threw the first batch way. The cubes were perfectly formed but they were on the small side. The next day later that afternoon the bucket of ice cubes were larger. i followed the instructions and the ice maker Is making perfect and plentiful ice cubes.
