Under powered
Would Not RecommendFelt like it didn't have enough power to dig fence posts. Each hole took several minutes and I had to keep stopping to clear lose dirt out of the hole to help it out. It also refused to start the way the manual says to and I could only get it started with the choke on run. The auger shakes and vibrates like crazy but I'm guessing that's to be expected with a cheaper auger so not necessarily its fault.
TIME SAVER
Would RecommendI purchased this two years ago it sat in my shed for the past year and I finally needed it again two weeks ago, it took about four or five pulls to start it after setting so long but, once started, it performed as flawlessly as it did when new I highly recommend this to anyone needing to dig holes with less work than post hole diggers, I have used it to dig fence post holes and last year to dig through a layer of clay to plant roses this year i broke it out to dig footers for a pergola I'm build...
Easy Way
Would RecommendPlanted 40 trees, it made it sort of fun. Probably reduced the install time by 90%. I had clay, sand, and rock soil in several places where construction was, but it can pull that out work in that. There is kick in those conditions, so braced the body with it, small learning curve to figure out your throttle speed, too slow it will seize, too fast you risk injury if not braced for it, it will spin on its own. Anyhow it saved me a lot of time and money not having to hire someone.
Easy assembly
Would RecommendThis auger was easy to assemble. One bolt that was it. Use it on couple small jobs and it works great. Easy to start, light weight. Was only digging in packed soil with few rocks and small roots and had no problems.

Makes work easier
Would RecommendWow, this thing is fantastic. My husband got all the holes drilled for the posts in a fraction of the time it would have taken with a manual post-hole digger. We saw a review prior to purchase where the buyers named their auger "Fred" and we decided to do the same. Fred is our new best friend making our lives much simpler when it comes to digging holes!

Trash
Would Not RecommendYou can see if the photo the plastic manifold melted. That was first day of use. Dies regularly. Gets hot very easy. We we’re drilling 6-8” holes with a 2” bit. It would only work for 10-15 minutes without having serious issues. This auger is trash. EARTHQUAKE augers is what you want to go with.
Good
Got the job done. I like the product. I will be using it more and more as time goes by. I recommend

Would Not RecommendI like the auger. BUT, POOR DESIGN ON THE EXHAUST PORT!!!!! First use the heat MELTED the plastic cowling around the motor. SECOND use more melted. PROBABLY GOT ENOUGH MELTED PLASTIC NOW FOR IT TO NOT BE BOTHERED BY THE EXHAUST ANYMORE!!!!!!
