Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews.Digger worked for our first project. It dug 11 holes for a fence around the garden. Since then we’ve used it 2-3 times. Now it won’t run above an idle. It hasn’t done enough work in its life to just quit already. Carburetor has no adjustments. It’s basically disposable. Not worth the money. Just rent one when you need it.

Gets the job done!
Would RecommendDid exactly what I needed it to. No issues in use. Just keep a tight grip in the event you catch a large stone as this thing can get away from you if you're not paying attention.

never worked
Would Not RecommendI assembled the auger and tried using it. it took awhile but finally got it started. however, the auger would never throttle. I realized this 32 days after purchase. the store would not do a return for me. they were supposed to get an RMA for warranty. they never did that. now I'm stuck with a broken auger that I can't return or get with warranty for repair.
The auger is great quality, the motor is sufficient. But the gas tank started leaking about six months after first use.
It is easy to use. Not cumbersome.
Would RecommendLiked the integrity of the auger. Sturdier than I expected. A work saver for sure.

I did not return this item
might have just been a dud
Would Not RecommendI spent $300 on this one and it wouldn't start after the first hole I dug with it. on top of that it was weaker than it should been. I returned it the next day.
Works great on loose soil Packed clay was an issue
Would RecommendWorks on light easy jobs.

under powered
Would Not Recommendcranks fine on maybe 3 pulls, pull throttle FULL, and it goes down 2 inches on a the bit that comes with it, then BOGGS DOWN. This is GAS powered. The dirt was firm but I could break with a regular drill with an auger bit attachment faster than this piece of junk

died after three holes
Would Not RecommendThis auger failed after it dug three 22-inch holes in silty soil, and failed to finish the fourth hole. It failed by spitting gasoline out of the exhaust and cannot be repaired.
Auger is very dangerous and also only worked once
used once for three post holes. wanted to use it again today. Has been kept in shop at all times when not using auger. Unit would crank but has no power. Had fresh gas with proper oil. Also gas tank has started leaking. Very dangerous! needs to be removed from stores until gas tank problem is solved.Nay 2023
Used one time , did great but next time the motor would only run at half speed. Also gas tank started leaking at seam in the middle of tank.
