Would RecommendSeals penetrations with no problem. The orange color is obvious but as with all foam if your not careful you can make a mess. I used it to seal corrugated metal roofing in a shed that I wanted minimize fire risk. I trimmed it when the foam was dry with a knife to give the appearance of a finished look.
