Expands a ton! But not a lot in a can.
Pros: -This stuff *really* expands. Comparable to GreatStuff Big Gap Filler. Maybe even more. -Fire resistant. I tested the fire resistance on a small puff that fell off my application. It seemed to self extinguish fairly well... Fire on foam is a worst case scenario but this gives me a slightly better peace of mind than regular canned spray foam. Cons: -A single can doesn't go very far! Buy more than you think you'll need.

Would RecommendRead many of the reviews on this product (Fire Block 12-oz Orange Sanded Paintable Caulk) prior to purchasing and had some doubts it would work. I tried it anyway, as there were no other products available at my local Lowe's that had the same rating. I followed the instructions on the can, probably shaking it longer than required because of the negative reviews. It worked just like it said it would and filled the gaps I needed it to.
Horrible product
Never again. Doesn’t stick well, sags too much after apparently setting, not consistent from can to can. Great Stuff Pro is a much better product and much cheaper when you consider how much 3M you waste because of its inability to adhere to surfaces.

Use the whole can the first time
Would Not RecommendI don't need to fill a lot of holes, so I thought I would try this can. I used it the first time without any issues. It sat for a couple of months and the second time I tried to use it, it would not spray fluidly like it did at first. After I stopped using it, it continued to spray foam until the whole can disappeared. I would not recommend this, instead just use the fire caulk, at least you get to use all of the product at your leisure.
