Maytag Washer - Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine was priced right and does the job. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get the water to the right level. It is either too much or WAY too little.

Awful!

In spite of all efforts (including those in the instructions) this machine leaves soap residue on my dark clothes and requires a second cycle to have the clothes clean and presentable. I expected more from a Maytag appliance.

Maytag Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always heard that Maytag was the best washer and dryer. My dryer is great, however my washing machine after 3 years is shot. I was told I would have to purchase a new one. The motor is barely working and the belt broke. This may be fine for people who are not on fixed incomes, but for me it really hurts. I don't know what has happened to the quality of maytag but it isn't what it use to be.

Somewhat disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have paid closer attention to the options. One thing I dislike is the fact that I can't select a spin cycle. The clothes are twisted and somewhat tangled when the load finishes. What I do like is the auto-sensing water fill feature.

Maytag Top Load Washer

So far this is my take. 1) Agitator doesn't agitate clothes well. It starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, instead of just a constant agitation during the wash cycle. Stopped Working Less Than One Year Old

I called Maytag customer service and while they were great, the first appointment available was one week out. The washer stopped working 2 days later and one week without a washing machine is a long time!
