Problem with dial

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am having problems with the timer and the door doesn't lock most times but still continues to wash even tho it is not supposed to. A repairman is working on it to fix the problem.

Disappointed

When I moved I left my 10 year old Maytag set and purchased this for new house . It is noisy and after one year could only wash on one speed. Water sensor uses too little water, even on deep setting Disappointed that I have to replace at only 5 years but I will not be getting another Maytag

Broke down in less than two years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly, in less than 2 years, this washer has already broken down. The lid was locked and the agitator would not spin. These seem like common problems with these washer (just youtube it). I ended up buying the extended warranty, which I am worried about because it sounds like it's not worth it. I will find out soon.

I wish my washer would break down!!!

The worst washer I've ever bought. Sometimes some of the clothes are still dry. When you was sweatshirts, the ones at the bottom are covered in residue and dirt. The main issue behind it all is it doesn't fill with enough water. It may be powerful because it has a tendency of ripping some of my towels and tops. I will never by another top loader fearing the same problem with water.

Don’t waste your money

DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT CLEAN CLOTHES! I bought this machine about 1 year ago to replace my old Maytag, wanted to save water. I have tried everything to get clothes to come out clean, but they come out with lint or dirt stuck all over them. I have tried everything suggested with no change in results. Just put in a load of polo shirts only worn to office and they come out full of dirt. We hang most clothes to dry. I am putting my shirts back in to wash again.Wish I would have bought a standard mac...

Average washer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this over a year ago and not had any issues with it. The tub does not fill up so I beleive its trying to save water and I dont know how to make it Deep fill. I can't say it does not wash the cloths but it does leave some residue (using liquid detergent) on the clothes but it come out in the dryer.

Nice washer overall

Machine of the year

My New Washer

Always buy a Maytag!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are very pleased with our new Maytag washer! It is Super quiet and does an excellent cleaning job for us! It is so much quieter than our old GE unit and it never goes off kilter like the GE unit did. My wife loves it so much better than the GE. We had Maytag's when we first got married and lost track of how good a product they truly make. Always buy a Maytag!

Top load Maytag washing machine 4.4 cu ft

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very noisey machine. Agitator takes dry clothes prior to wash cycle and balls clothe up. Water valves slam shut causing extreme water hammer including replacement water valve assembly.. Not the same. Maytag machine and quality as the older belt drive washing machines. Vibrations on this machine when levelled still bad and dances all over the floor in spin cycle. I DO NOT recommend this Maytag washing machine.

NOT MAYTAG'S FAULT: We Need the Washer Replaced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are having issues with this washer. It is NOT Maytag's fault. We believe it is the seller, AM It has multiple options for washing our cloths however this unit is faulty and needs to be returned for another working model. The water ONLY washes super hot! I had a plumber come to see if it was a connection issue, yet he stated it was the unit. My Fiancé ordered the Washer & Dryer units. Unfortunately he did NOT read the poor reviews.

Doesn’t last
