Don’t purchase - unless you like watercoloring

This is as thin as water coloring in elementary. Very disappointed as this has been first and only time I will try Val-spar. There are runs everywhere I tried the paintbrush and I have coated 8’X4’wall 4 times Still need to wait for last coat to dry before I start adding the las4 coats. Make sure flooring is covered while painting due to dwindled product Unfortunately no possibility off even a partial reimbursement.

Quality used to be better

The color is nice but the quality of Valspar paint has taken a huge dive. It now takes a ton of paint to get coverage.

Yikes! Maybe we got a bad batch?

This was almost the highest end paint offered, over $50. Touted to include primer. The walls we were painting were light grey, should have been easy to paint over. Especially given this paint includes primer. It turned out TERRIBLE!!!!! We did one wall with actual primer, bc that wall had “Dry Erase Paint” on it, so we wanted to be sure to cover that well before painting. That wall turned out fabulous…the other walls were patchy and just AWFUL! We called the store and spoke to a manager, then we...

Great interior paint

I have done quite a bit of interior house painting in my time and this, by far, is the best product I've ever worked with. It covers well with one coat, it doesn't drip everywhere, it has very low VOC, and it was easy to clean off of my painting equipment. I bought way too much thinking about multiple coats!

Worthless expensive crap paint - DO NOT BUY!!!

This paint tiles horrible results. Lowes should be ashamed for peddling this as high quality paint. I had to do 3 coats and ended up going to Sherwin William's to get paint to cover it all. Absolute trash! PLUS… Lowes would refund me for this garbage. I’ll never use Valspar crap paint again and Lowes is on the chopping block too for their greedy practices.

RESERVE is Durable Paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can truly vouch for Valspar RESERVE as being the #1 Best paint to stand up to your Toughest abuse! I moved into a rented home that had literally been boarded up for about a decade. It had unfinished concrete floors, covered in dried up mouse urine, mouse droppings, dead bugs, and dirt. I scrubbed the floors multiple times with bleach water, rinsed well, and dried well. I first painted the floors with primer, using a roller on my broom handle....

False advertisement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On Wednesday 6/13/24 I bought Valspar Reserve paint, it was put on the next day, it said One Coat, PLEASE STOP LYING TO THE customer because it takes more than one coat,change that to say it may take more than one coat, it's too expensive.

Not worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a 5 gallon paint bucket because it said I was a 1 coat paint. Not true at all. Had to go over several times. Love the color but not worth the extra money.
