Excellent can design, for a well established paint

Great new pour spout

Love the design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging itself is nice, but the only thing I didn't like is the paper around the logo. It’s not fully secured which can be annoying, but also not a big deal. The lid design is absolutely great! There is nothing more annoying than the mess after dumping some paint and all the edges get messed up. The insert to neatly pour the paint into a container is absolutely amazing and it helps a LOT with precision. I can't wait to use it!

No rust packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the updated packaging for this Valspar paint. The container is plastic not metal. I can’t say how many times I’ve opened old paint for touch up and little rust flakes break off into the paint. That won’t happen with plastic! I don’t need a hammer to close the container since it’s plastic. It clicks closed. I appreciate the pour spout which lessens the likelihood of spills and messes. Quality Paint

From the stroke of the brush you know you are using a high quality finish. Covers well and the longer than average work time all but eliminates flashing when product is applied properly. Excellent paint yielding beautiful results.

Paint failed to cure to wall

Paint failed to cure to walls after a full week of curing. After 1 week I taped the edge to edge of the wall to paint the ceiling. When I thought I was done, I removed the tape and massive chunks were stuck to the back of the tape. Now I need to do touch up with this clearly inferior product.

NOT 1 coat

1 coat guaranteed where?????? I am on 2nd coat but chose the more expensive can due to one coat guaranteed. Now I’m headed back to buy more as it will take minimum 2 coats.

I love the valspar paint and primer base. I use it for all my interior wall colors.
