Cheap imitation

Would Not Recommend

Like others have mentioned, these are vinyl-wrapped MDF. The color "chesapeake oak" is NOT a match for Style Selections Charleston Oak OR Coretec Chesapeake Oak. The image printed on the vinyl doesn't align with the flooring texture and it is visibly blurry. Would not recommend if you are trying to achieve a high-end finish. To top it off, we only received 1/4 boxes, which seems to be a common problem amongst reviewers.

Would Recommend

Stairs look much better now that they match the flooring. I used left over flooring for the risers. That wasnt my original plan. I was just going to do the tread, but very happy it worked out the way it did.

Dont rely on Lowes delivery

I still have not received it and it says it was suppose to be here 2 days ago, I try and look it up through lowes and it says they cant find the order. I received an email that says it was delivered at 3:02 am. I checked the tracking number and it still says it wont be here for another day. The only thing i am able to review is Lowes poor delivery service and their system for tracking shipments.

Looks great, seems sturdy. Pattern repeats a little too often for my taste. Had to carefully plan the end cuts and order to avoid duplicating eye-catching features like knots in the print on adjacent stairs.

Looks great

Just did my steps, overall they seem to be built well. This is a 3rd party company building these, and it's a printed image glued onto MDF and pine nosing. Hoping it remains durable but I would highly recommend waterproofing around the edges. On my landing you can see the color difference between the actual planks and stair tread piece. But on the stairs there is no noticeable difference. Would recommend. My only issue is FedEx losing these in the mail and Lowes says I need to contact FedEx , ...
