Overall great solution
We use this system to cover about 650 ft.² of tired old stone slate floors. That substrate (after an acid wash) was perfect for this system. Two coats was essential over a dark tile with a light color. This is coastal fog with aged gray for the grout lines. I found the coverage in both the base coats and topcoat went further than advertised. Using recommended rollers to go. Any thicker would have left product pooling. So if you’re on the fence ordering the extra gallon or not, we ended up gett...
Disappointed
I followed all the steps. Prepped the tile flooring and then did the first step paint, waited the allotted time and then the top coat. It looked great but even after 7 days it is peeling off easily and not sticking to the tile at all. I am very disappointed because I loved the way it looked when I first finished painting.

Easy application, looks fantastic, they tell you what roller nap to buy on the box. We have used this for tile, showers, sinks, wood, and most recently fireplace mantle.

tile prep a must
Color saturation is good and the matte is forgiving of streaks and imperfections. I prepped the tile using etching paste, and although this is my first time doing this sort of project, from other reviews they maybe didn't prep enough. You'll have to be careful since tile glaze won't want to absorb the paint, but touch ups easily fix it. It's slow going, but I did about 3 hrs of cleaning/prep, 2 hrs of paint for about 100 sq ft. It looks great, just takes a long time.

Disappointed
I have always loved rust-oleum products and would choose them over others when available, but was very disappointed in the floor product. Easy DIY, but when applying the top coat, I had tried to wipe off a few smudges and the base (color) coat wiped right off. This happened after the 6 hour wait time between coats. I have always found with their other products that it adheres great and would have thought for a floor product, where good adhesion is so necessary, would have better staying pow...
