What Customers Are Saying

The Minwax Polyshades product received mixed reviews. Many customers found it easy to apply with good coverage and color matching, and appreciated its ability to protect against water damage and enhance the natural wood grain. I will buy it again and again

This is the first time I have used the PolyShades instead of just the Wood Finish penetrating stain. I like both and have worked with both but the PolyShades required less separate coats and still provided a deep color and finish.

Great for refurbishing

Would Recommend

We bought this to refurbish a thrift store stool that had been painted over and over. With just one coat this brought out the natural colors of the wood and allowed them to really pop.
