I purchased an LG clothes washer and LG clothes dryer from Lowes in Palm Springs, CA on May 13, 2025. Both machines were of the front load type. The installation on May 15, 2025 went smoothly. The new machines were places in the same positions the old one occupied: washer on the right, dryer on the left. Peeling paint inside - do not buy
I bought this dryer with the 5 yr extended warranty. The paint is peeling on the circular flange inside the door adjacent to the drum. There are flecks of paint on our clothes and on the floor by the dryer. Extended warranty says it doesn't apply, LG says can't help. I asked for composition of the paint that children, pet, and our skin is coming in contact with. Would give me no information. I have had this dryer for 4 years and it is a mess! Do not buy!

Hate this dryer, regret purchasing
The sensors just don't work. My laundry is always wet coming out of this dryer on the sensor based dry, no matter what the temperature, no matter how many minutes I increase the dry time to. It ignores the increased minutes completely. I've said it to 90 minutes and come back three minutes later to find it stopped with wet clothes in it. 2 years later already leaking
I bought this November of 2023 it is now December 2025 and the soap dispenser has been leaking I didn't notice it because the machine is white. I have trouble shot it and now it needs repair that if I went with an LG tech would cost me about the same as buying the same unit again. So now I either repair it or replace it after 2 years this was not worth the money and I wish they made things to last or make the pieces easy to access for quick cleaning. So disappointed!

Dryer is great, installation is non-existent
I replaced my old one with the same model because I really liked the machine and it ran well for several years. The main board eventually gave out but I think I got the value out of it. One thing I would warn about though, is the delivery / installation.
