Green With Envy
Green has been used for centuries in walls, moulding, furnishings and home accents. A soft sage evokes a calm environment in living rooms, kitchens and sunrooms. A deep emerald creates a dramatic backdrop for a powder room, library or foyer.
In this dining room, a bar cabinet received a makeover with Minwax Wood Finish Water-based Solid Interior Stain in Verdigris. Art deco wall sconces, matching wallpaper and a floral gallery wall pull the look together.
This geometric open shelving in the right image got a fun update with Krylon Fusion All-In-One Satin Spring Grass spray paint. Pretty in Pink
Do you have an old piece of furniture that you're about to place on the curb? Rethink that. With a little elbow grease and some paint, you can transform it.
In the left image, we took an old buffet and used Minwax Wood Finish in Cherry Blossom to refinish it. This deep pink pops against the cream walls. Then some floral wallpaper was glued to the back of the open shelving. Brass pulls and knobs are a sophisticated touch.

Feeling the Blues
Blue is a favorite in interior design and there are over 200 different shades to choose from. In the left image, Home on Sprig (@home.on.sprig) built a kid's study with unfinished cabinets, bookcases, spruce pine fir boards for the desktop and a shiplap wall. But what really pulled the whole look together was this gorgeous gray-blue by Valspar called Risk Reward.
In the right image, a beautiful kitchen with a tile marble backsplash is elevated with this cabinetry painted in Valspar's Blue Aster. The rug underneath the kitchen table and the wall in the living room unify the spaces. Open shelving and brass accents elevate this warm and welcoming area. A Pretty Passage
A quick and easy way to create a wow-worthy entrance is by painting your door a pretty color. In the left image, a Dutch door is covered in this soft and calming color from Minwax called Modest Mint. A coordinating rug and velvet pillow create a cohesive look.
This entrance got a sunny makeover once The Switchout (@the.switchout) painted the glass front door with Cupola Yellow by Sherwin Williams. Topiaries in white planters and a new doormat make this a cheery spot with great curb appeal.

Dark and Stormy
Jimmy and Lauren (@thecrossfield) envisioned a rich and moody backdrop for this library/home office. A once white room has been painted a deep green called Aged Pine by Valspar. By painting the ceiling too, it creates a seamless look that creates a dramatic effect. A deep walnut top and antique brass cabinet hardware are the perfect finishing touches.

ACCENTuate the Colorful
Give neutral spaces a boost with colorful accessories. Lamps, frames, vases, artwork, throw pillows and decorative accents are easy ways to bring color to a room.
If you have home accents that feel tired and lifeless, you can give them an update with a bit of paint. In the left image, a simple wood frame gets an infusion of color with Minwax Interior Stain in Tangerine. In the right image, a vase and open shelving were spray painted in Krylon Lagoon Blue and look fun against light pink walls. Other items that are easy to uplift include planters, baskets, small end tables and more.
(Not So) Mellow Yellow
A simple entryway with light gray walls and a jute rug gets an infusion of color with this storage bench. It's painted in Minwax Semi-transparent Interior Stain in Lemon, a bright and happy yellow. Add bins and baskets to hold essential items that you need to grab on your way out the door. With the bright sunlight coming through the windows, this is a great spot to add a couple of plants.
Minty Fresh
A soft minty green brings a calming effect to any space.
In the left image, a wine cabinet gets an uplift with Minwax Wood Finish Water-Based Interior Stain in Vintage Blue. In the right image, Jessica N. Conway (@jessica.n.conway) wanted a dramatic change in her kitchen. Aside from taking down a wall and adding a pantry, she painted her cabinets in this gorgeous minty green called Gingko Tree by Valspar.
